Learn more about our mission and rich past: January 2000 BCG Attorney Search (formerly Barrister Consulting Group) launched in Pasadena, California. August 2000 BCG Attorney Search relocates from Pasadena to downtown Los Angeles to 617 South Olive Street. September 2000 BCG Attorney Search formerly changes its name from Barrister Consulting Group. December 2000 BCG Attorney Search opens its first branch office in New York City. January 2001 The first edition of the BCG Attorney Search Guide to class rankings and law review admission published. February 2001 The first BCG Attorney Search College held. May 2001 BCG Attorney Search opens an office in Chicago. Numerous new offices in cities around the United States follow over the next few years. September 2001 Legal Authority launched by BCG Attorney Search to assist candidates in doing mass mailings to get jobs. December 2001 Planning for commencement of LawCrossing begun with research on database beginning. Research and building initial database backbone takes over 17 months with a staff of 15 people. April 2002 First mock ups of LawCrossing received. Several revisions of final design would be received prior to launch. May 2003 Initial database completed. Hiring of job editors, job editing team and daily staff to monitor and work with database commenced. July 2003 LawCrossing launched. August 2004 Southlake Properties formed. September 2004 Juriscape, India formed as Reliadat-India (precursor company to Employment Research Institute). November 2004 Attorney Resume launched. January 2005 Law School Loans launched. May 2005 Reliadat becomes Juriscape-India. JD2B, a premier site for law students, acquired. June 2005 General Counsel Consulting launched. August 2005 Attorney Research Group launched. January 2006 Law School Loans becomes recognized as a lender by the US Government. Law Firm Staff launched. Attorney Resume releases its first book. March 2006 EdFed launched. Judged launched. April 2006 Legal Authority publishes its first book. September 2006 LawCrossing.co.uk launched. October 2006 JD Journal (as a magazine) releases its first issue (over 120,000 copies). February 2007 SellingCrossing launched and company begins massive hiring for new venture. By February of 2007, the company has over 650 employees in the United States, Asia and Europe. April 2007 AdvertisingCrossing, MarketingCrossing, PRCrossing launched. May 2007 HRCrossing, MoneyCrossing (now known as FinancialServicesCrossing), TechieCrossing (now known as InformationTechnologyCrossing) and AccountingCrossing launched.
